Do you need a day of shopping without your little sewer? Youth who have taken RainTree Quilting’s Camp I are invited to join Jodie for a day of gift making. Bring your sewing machine, sewing notions, fabric scraps, and thread. Jodie will provide the gift ideas and instruction. You will be amazed at what can be created in a single day of sewing. RainTree Quilting will provide BERNINA sewing machines for those students who do not own a machine.

These are self-guided projects with minimal instruction provided.  Participants are expected to be able to follow written patterns and be confortable using their sewing machine.

Learn to Sew Pajama Pants, 2 nights; 5:30-9pm

LEARN TO SEW Series-these classes are designed for people with no, or limited, sewing experience. The series is designed to progressively build sewing skills from learning how to use a machine to garment sewing. Students can jump in with the class that matches their existing skills. Students may use their own machine or arrange to rent one. These classes are open to adults as well as high school aged students.

Using 1½ yards of fabric and special techniques, you can create scarves for friends or yourself. Great gifts, or dress up your own wardrobe with various colored scarves.

French Braid Tree Skirt Pt. 1; 6-9pm

French Braid Tree Skirt-Confident Beginner

Friday, December 5th; 6-9pm & Saturday, December 6th; 10-5pm
Instructor: Annette Coggins
Fee: $56
Make a tree skirt from 10 basic braids that diminish in width from bottom to top. This pattern can also work as a table topper if you sew the last seam shut and appliqué a circle over the center opening.
