Learn To Sew Basics
This class teaches basic sewing skills and prepares the participant for garment classes at RainTree Quilting. Students MUST know how to use their sewing machines. This is a class that meets twice and is designed to introduce the learner to the basics of sewing pattern use. On the first night participants will learn how to select appropriate fabrics and notions. They will also prepare their pattern pieces, pin patterns correctly to fabrics and cut projects in preparation for sewing. Students will sew their projects on the second evening. This particular pattern introduces sewists to the terms, symbols and techniques utilized in garment patterns. It is a fantastic pattern for basic skill training offered by KWIK SEW.
