| Instructor Bio: | Al Hunt is a professional sewing machine technician and educator with more than 40 years? experience. Over the years, Al has received technical training and repaired for dealers of the leading sewing machine manufacturers. He has serviced well over 40,000 sewing machines. Al is a Bernina Certified Technician, and has been since the early 80?s, assisting many independent dealers. As an Independent National Resource Trainer for Bernina of America, Al has taught hundreds of Bernina technicians throughout the United States, and 17 years at Bernina University. He wrote the book? Servicing Competitive Brand Sewing Machines? used by Bernina technicians. As a consultant for NASA, Al has worked on projects for the International Space Station, manned flight to Mars, and habitation of the Moon and Mars. As a columnist for UPHOLSTERY JOURNAL and MARINE TEXTILE magazines, he has published more than 40 articles on the topic of commercial sewing machine maintenance. When Al isn?t on the road teaching, he can be found servicing all brands of household, industrial and long arm machines all over the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. |
