Materials:
Pattern:
• Pattern and directions will be provided during class
Fabric
• One color model:
o ½ yard for one color portfolio cover, lining, and pockets OR
• Panel or multi-color model:
o 1- 10” tall x 15” wide piece of fabric for cover
o 1- 10” tall x 15” wide piece of fabric for lining
o 2- 10” tall x 14” wide piece of fabric for pockets
• For both models
o 1- 11”x16” piece of Soft and Stable from byAnnies or other foam
o 1- 10” x 14” piece of clear vinyl
o 1/3 yard contrast fabric for pocket trim and binding
Supplies
1 handbag zipper (2 zipper pulls) or 24” of zipper by the yard with 2 zipper pulls
Thread to match for quilting and binding
Sewing machine cleaned oiled and in good working order
Presser feet:
1/4” foot
Zipper foot
Teflon foot (optional)
Edge stitching (Bernina 10C or 10D)(optional)
Basic sewing supplies: scissors, pins, pin cushion, seam ripper
Marking pen/pencil/chalk
Wonder clips
Thick Hair Tie or 6” round elastic
Button for closure
