Amanda Murphy Lecture: From Concept to Quilt 5-8pm
Quilting affords the opportunity to add another layer of design and you don't have to be an expert to get spectacular results! We work with pen and paper in the first half of the class, designing on top of piecing handouts that Amanda provides.
We will also learn about the behind-the-scenes development of fabric lines, patterns and such. You will learn how the idea goes from being an initial concept to the development of a myriad of products and what to look for when shopping for fabrics and exploring different techniques in your own work.
