Wash your quilt in cold water. We suggest using color catchers to catch and residual dies. IF your quilt "bleeds" do not put into the dryer. Instead, fill a large tote with very hot water and 1 cup of free and clear liquid dish soap. I like Seventh Generation. Allow the quilt to soak for 4 hours. Rinse till all color is released from the water then run through the washing machine again. If the "bleeding" has stopped, dry in your dryer.
